SELF-SUFFICIENCY
MUST GO!
Read: John Ch.015: 004
To overcome sinful habits, the child of God must come to realize, he doesn't have the will-power to stay free.
To overcome temptation with inner strength, we have to admit that in our own strength we can only lose. Self-sufficiency must go!
In its place must come an invitation to God to do His work in us. Jesus taught that this means staying with Him in the same way a branch stays with its vine.
We cannot know victory apart from consciously depending on Christ!
