SHOWING IT...OR REALLY LIVING IT

Many people use many different signs or symbols to identify themselves with Christ. There are some who portray the sign of the fish, crosses, etc. These are sometimes displayed by bumper stickers, T-shirts, posters and other ways. Some “clergy” even wear certain collars, robes or other clothing to identify them as being a Christian. There’s nothing wrong with wearing or showing the right identification as long as you “practice what you preach!” It’s easy to wear a button or pin, etc., but if the heart is not right, or if you are not living, doing and believing what the Bible teaches, it is of no value.
Take a look at I Sam. 16:7, “...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
