The Gospel of Mark is in some respects unlike the other three Gospels. It doesn’t tell us anything about the birth and early life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Of all the four inspired histories of Jesus’ early ministry, this Gospel is the shortest. While shorter than the others, we must not allow this to make us undervalue Mark’s account. It is still full of precious facts and treasures about the Lord, narrated in a simple and condensed style. Don’t become frustrated trying to reap the blessings of Mark’s message - - Every word is “given by inspiration of God,” and every word is “profitable!”
