BE BETTER!
Read: Matthew Ch.005: 020
Jesus told us we must have a better righteousness than that of the Pharisees. Those guardians of the law not only appeared to keep every point of it but even added to it!
As Christians, we can obey from the heart. The obedience of the Pharisees was external. Obedience must come internally from the heart. Also, our righteousness is superior because it comes from Christ. He did not come to destroy the law; He came to fulfill it.
Having Christ's righteousness, we can obey God out of love. This makes our righteousness exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees.

NOT ATTAINMENT!
